The best shampoo (or shampooer) you'll ever own!
I'm not one to write a review on carpet shampoo (this is also my first review here, so bear with me)...however I am amazed at the quality of this product and of the performance of the Kirby system. I recently purchased my Kirby from an online auction, complete with all of the optional attachments (carpet shampooer, floor buffer, zipp brush, etc.) but wasn't too sure about how to operate the shampooer correctly. I asked a family member who used to distribute the Kirby to show me how to use the system. Our test area was my sister's family room rug, complete with a four month old soft drink stain from a 13 year old's sleep over. The Kirby shampoo was laid down on the rug, set to work in it's magic, and then was swept up into the collection tray. All I could say was...WOW!!! The Kirby system and shampoo pulled out several years of filth, not to mention that pesky soft drink stain. The carpet was left amazingly dry, and an hour later was vacuumed up to a beautiful fluff. I have no complaints about how fast I got this product or the price. I'm not sure if I did it wrong because I can't say it is a very strong lavender scent, but as long as the carpet is clean, that is my main concern. Otherwise, assuming operator error, I have no reason to assume it didn't work. I only gave it a four becasue I think it could be a little stronger scent.
