I love toast... and red
I LOVE this toaster. It looks nice on my counter, even though it's HUGE compared with my old one. My old toaster was a Sunbeam and the beams didn't last long, and the thing never toasted anything evenly. This toaster? Perfection! I have never had a toaster that does bagels like this one; they are perfect; crunchy on the cut side and soft and warm on the outsides. We have used it for cheapo bread, dense sourdough, English muffins, and bagels; it does them all, and does a great job at it.
If there is any drawback to this toaster it might be that it's much slower than other toasters I've had. However, my toasters that were quicker left the toast soggy in the middle and very crispy on the outside. There may be a very good reason for the slow-toasting of this Kitchen Aid as the toast is not soggy in the middle. A hundred bucks is a lot of money for a toaster, but then again, you really do get what you pay for.

Another great KitchenAid product!
This 4-slice KitchenAid toaster is another great addition to my KitchenAid collection! I looked everywhere to find this in Empire Red, and wow was it well worth the wait!
The functions of the toaster including the LCD screen, the memory feature that saves the last setting, and the defrost function are all great components of this product. Also, with the removable crumb tray, cleanup is a breeze. This toaster is great for toasting anything from slices of bread to thicker bagels, as it accommodates pieces up to 1.5" wide with it's large openings, so it comes in very handy depending on what our appetites are craving at the moment.
Not only does this perform as you would expect from KitchenAid, but it also looks great sitting out on the kitchen counter along with my other KitchenAid small appliances!

This has been the best toaster we have ever had, bar none. It does everything we want it to, everytime.
The numerical settings for toastiness is a great system. The toast or bagle is toasted all over. There are no gaps in the toasting and it just works great.
BUY this machine. You wil NOT be dissappointed
