Sienna Vibe Steam Mop

Sienna Vibe - so far, a big thumbs up!
I'd been considering steam mops for awhile, reading reviews, checking stores. I got this Sienna impulsively at a big-box store, because the price was low ($38) and got a Shark that day also. I took back the Shark, admittedly without trying it, because I like the Sienna fine, and certainly for the price difference it's great. I've used it a few times so far.

What I like: it's lightweight, heats up FAST, easy to fill and drain, it stands up on its own, and most importantly, it steams the whole time. No pressing a trigger constantly, which for me is very important. It stops steaming when you click it into upright stance. The steam only comes out one port on the bottom, but it looks like a brass part so hopefully it shouldn't corrode. The mop head is low profile and fits under most things. And the head swivels, which I like.

I use one mop pad for the wood floor, which includes a foyer, hall, bath, and kitchen. I fill it up twice for that, but it's not a hassle. The...

Does a great job for the price.
The mob does an amazing job cleaning my bamboo floors. I have several thousand sq. ft. of dark bamboo flooring which were accumulating spots and stains, despite frequent moppings with warm water. This little mob cut through everything right down to the sealant, and I was done doing all my floors in short order. I was really amazed at how deeply it cleaned, and how quickly. There were areas where layers of stains, that normal mopping didn't get, and even candle wax that it devoured instantly. I had several deep stains where dirt was embedded in dried floor-shine product, and it blasted through those too. They did require a few more passes, but came clean easily.

My only negatives are 1) slightly wobbly handle, 2) relatively small water reservoir, and 3) somewhat limited cord length. But when you stop and realize this was $39, none of those matter compared with the great job it does.

Also, it cleaned so well, it took all shine off the flooring, and I now...

Works great!
Serves it's purpose and does a nice job. Wish the cord was longer.
Pads wash out well for reuse. Nice and lightweight.
