Jet Dry Solid
Jet Dry Solid can't be beat for dishes that come out sparkling. Not all older dishwashers have a compartment for liquid Jet Dry so the solid container that hangs from the upper tray is the answer. Can't find it in stores anywhere so you have to order online. It's worth the shipping fees.
Great product no longer in stores
Why grocery stores have dropped Jet-Dry solid is beyond me. This is the only product that seems to prevent and even remove calcium stains from glassware in the dishwasher. Yes, the manufacturers say that the liquid is just as good, or that there is hard water agents in the tabs or packets they sell. All I know is that with Jet-Dry, the glasses sparkle and without it they don't. This is a great product and thank goodness it's available through Amazon.
better buy than liquid version
The Jet Dry solid lasts and lasts, at least a couple of months per basket. Contrast this with the liquid form which needs constant refilling. Stores don't carry this version because they think everyone has a liquid dispenser, and I suppose most people do. But I use the basket version anyway as it is a thriftier choice.
