Awesome Fan!!
I got this fan for my Mid-century modern home and I love it! Although I am not a huge ceiling fan fan, my house has vaulted ceilings and warm air gets trapped near the ceiling. Well, this fan is not only attractive but it really moves the air. It is extremely quiet on all speeds and does not vibrate at all. True about the light being somewhat dim, but, perfect for getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, no need to sing "blinded by the light." Oh, and the remote? Fabulous! No unsightly chains hanging down and looking all trashy and swinging all over the place. This fan is perfect for people who like clean lines and modern or contemporary furnishings. I will use it for six months and if there are no issues, I plan to buy 2 more!
UPDATE : for those of you complaining about the dimness of the light, This fan has a built in dimmer! Just press and hold the "light" button! You may have overlooked this instruction in the remote description.
Great Fan!
This fan was super easy to install, is very quiet, and circulates way more air than any other fan that I have owned. Some reviewers have said their experience with the fan was that it was unbalanced. I have found that with remote-controlled fans, that the wires coming out of the remote unit need to be laid into the inside of the canopy, not shoved up into the ceiling with the house wires. Trying to put them in the ceiling with the house wires is too crowded, hence the unbalance because the ball cannot move freely. The ball needs to be free from all obstruction for the fan to balance itself. I hope this helps anyone who has had this issue. Also, the light will get quite bright, if the green button is pushed and held (it's a dimmer).
Fan of this fan
I like the look of this fan. With just the two blades, the fan definitely looks different and that was what I wanted. We have 3 of these and they all work perfectly. Installation was easy. The blades might not be genuine wengue plywood but from the floor looking up I can not tell the difference.
One thing I have to get used to is that after the fan is installed, the light in that room has to be turned on/off with the light switch on the remote. However that is only when you want to use the fan option and light option together. When the fan is not in use, you can use the regular on/off switch in that room. The light then does have a slight delay in coming on.
